PARISIAN DELIGHTS...

I was fortunate enough to visit Paris earlier this month; what an amazing city! I took the opportunity to go a bit snap-happy and thought I'd share some of my favourite photographs...

HOW VERY CHARMING!

Recently came across the work of Nicola Malkin, a contemporary British ceramic artist best-known for her large scale sculptural pieces. If you're into this sort of thing visit her website - http://www.nicolamalkin.com/ - it really is a treat for the eyes! The first picture shows an example of her oversized pearl necklace on the front of Another Magazine, I'd like to get my hands on that copy. My favourites pieces are these enormous charm bracelets and earrings; funny how simply playing with the scale of something can create such a striking object. Kitsch, witty and fun: just how I like it!
